Caps Not Bucket Hats
Caps not bucket hats, they are wearing is way out groovey fab. Still getting my groove on with inspiration from 1960s caps. Women started wearing bright colored fashion caps with their dresses or pants in the 60s.
1960s fashion ad here with fun dresses which I would actually wear but it's those bright colored contrasting caps that make the look. That's what catches my eyes about 1960s fashion are the bright colors and structured crisp lines. The looks are so now.
About 5 years ago a Ukarian Stylist hopped onto the fashion scene by putting a patent leather cap on Bella Hadid. This style hit the right note with GenZ and then Ruslan Baginsky Baker Boy craze was set. A few years before that and actually since the 90s Eugenia Kim was creating Fishermen and biker boy caps for women too.

Now, neither one of these styles are original to these designer's eras but they recreated vintage hat styles into something fresh, chic and ala mode.
I myself back in early aughts created a little cap based on a vintage style as well a bit 1940s WWII era. It was popular. Unfortunately no pics - bcp!
However, I am working on a cap design right now that is very Mod Inspired. Inspired though. As a creator, I am into designing something new that was inspired by vintage. Stay tune if you love fashion hats!
