In The Mode

 

For many years now, I have been enthralled with the love of Golden Era Hollywood Film Costume.  Each time a classic movie comes on I get excited to find out who did the costuming and the hats that the characters will be wearing.  It's thrilling every time I see a high fashion hat on a woman.  The debonaire headwear of the men is a swoon moment too.  

Years ago, I worked in entertainment but it was in admin.  However, to schuzz up my desk area I started pin up pictures of Classic Hollywood Stars wearing hats.  Fellow coworkers would come over just to see the new pic I had put up.  They loved it.

Now years later, I am designing my new collection of headwear and soon handbags with my main inspiration Golden Era Hollywood Glam.  So I got to thinking about vlogging.  I have been wanting to come up with an idea for a vlog because I love to chat.  Then a light bulb moment came to me to combine my love of Golden Era Hollywood Costuming, hats and headwear with my own collection into a vlog.  So voila the idea is born.  I am working on the particulars but soon I am going for it.  The only snafu is copyrights of showing pictures and film as examples in my vlog.  So if anyone knows exactly how I can do that let me know.  In the meantime, I am also working on new headwear based on the films as well as my new collection.
